Abstract

This presentation will review common differential diagnoses and symptom presentation for attention/focus patient complaints.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will be able to identify common differential diagnoses when presented with patient complaint of attention problems.
  • Participants will be able to identify some common screening tools that could be used to assist with diagnosis.
  • Participants will be able to identify when referral for neuropsychological evaluation is recommended to assist with diagnosis.

PHYSICIAN (CME)

The University of Pittsburgh designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

NURSING (CNE)

A maximum of 1.0 nursing contact hours will be awarded. Participants will be able to claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the program.
