Each county in Pennsylvania provides access to peer support, often from a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS). Peers are individuals with lived experience in their substance use recovery that can provide support with or without treatment. If you are unsure if you need treatment, or choose not to pursue treatment, you can talk to a peer specialist who can share options and introduce you to other recovery supports. Groups like NA (Narcotics Anonymous) or online resources like SMART Recovery can be a helpful way to learn about and meet other people in (or seeking) recovery.

Community Recovery Days
We participate in Annual Recovery Day celebrations in Erie, Crawford and Venango Counties. These community celebrations feature family fun activities, pony rides, vendors, refreshments, prizes, 5K races, candlelight vigils, and recovery resources.
These activities help spread the message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, prevention works, and treatment is effective and available.
